Original German WW2 Polizei NS66 Helmet. Manufactured by Deutsche Nickelwerke Schwerte. On the back inner rim of the helmet is D1 or 01 39.
There is a faded outline of what could only be the decal of the German Police badge. There is also evidence of the family name of a the person the helmet belonged to on the interior leather liner, though the ink no longer remains -> Piolek?
Size 58 as marked on the liner. Missing chin strap.
