Etched Robert Klaas K98 Parade Bayonet

Etched Robert Klaas K98 Parade Bayonet

Code: 11403

£195.00

A heavily used example of a parade K98 bayonet by maker Robert Klaas with kissing cranes. The blade is acid etched with a German Helmet and a National Eagle bordered by an ornate swastika shaped motif at the bottom Ges Gesch (design patent pending). In the centre are the words Zur Errinerung an Meine Dienstzeit "a reminder of my service time". The top wording of the etched blade is sadly heavily worn. The blade has been shortened and the scabbard has been repainted. The release button for disconnecting from the K98 is missing. Could be restored and made workable again.
